The Vietnam War: Search the database of Pennsylvanians who died in the war

What may be Ken Burns' most ambitious documentary to date, "The Vietnam War," began airing Sunday night on PBS.

The 10-part, 18-hour documentary covering more than 100 years will continue on PBS over the next week and a half.

In conjunction with that, here is a database, first published by PennLive in 2015, of all Pennsylvanians who died in the war in Vietnam:

A couple of notes about the data:

• This data collected utilizes the home of record, which is the municipality where the soldier enlisted, but not necessarily where the soldier lived when he died.
• The data does not differentiate among the numerous municipalities that share the same name in Pennsylvania. If unable to determine which county a particular municipality is in, the county is returned as unknown data.
